What it is
A jungly cove on the Andaman Sea, dotted with private villas too stunning to be believed.
What it isn't
Lacking a thing. Sure, you’re in the middle of a beachy paradise here, but you’ll also find the property stocked with a full library, DVDs, board games, and zippy WiFi.
What we think
Trisara translates to ‘Third Garden in Heaven’ from Sanskrit—and once you step foot on these blissful grounds, you’ll believe it. Every single villa or suite on the premises has its very own floating reflection pool and overlook of the ocean (not to mention sleek sand-on-white interiors that say “aaaah” at a glance, and bleach-white daybeds peeping out on the sea). All restaurants on the property cull from local farms and fisherman; Seafood at Trisara exclusively cooks from “Thai Mama” recipes, meaning your Massaman Plamuck braised octopus in curry and coconut is as authentic as it gets.
You're here because
You’d hate to spoil paradise, and love that Trisara upholds the Keep Phuket Clean initiative—re-using rainwater in the gardens, avoiding chemicals, and more.
It’s basic math: four-handed massages have nothing on six-handed massages. Or so you’ve discovered in the seafront Jara spa, as your entire being is rubbed down in an open-air pavilion, the only sound the crush of the surf. As they described it, the six hands move together as if being “driven by one heart.” Heaven, indeed.
On a frothy beach a 16 minute drive from Phuket International Airport—yet an entire leafy world away.
