The St. Regis Cairo

Tower of Grandeur

What it is

A gleaming 36 story riverside tower with 362 ornate guest rooms, seven unforgettable bars and restaurants, a two story spa, mosaic-lined indoor pool, and so much more.

What it isn't

Poorly designed. They hired none other than postmodern starchitect Michael Graves to erect the landmark building.

What we think

A team of doting butlers are famously part of a St. Regis stay, and in Cairo, the hotel takes guest pampering to the next level. Every single guest room here is an unabashed delight, down to the “starting” room category, a Superior Room. The 473 square foot options have dazzling tray ceilings, fanciful wallpaper, marble and mosaic-lined bathrooms complete with flat screen TVs ensconced above the tub, and postcard-worthy panoramas of Cairo’s skyline. To splurge even further, we love the Metropolitan Suites, which have corner views of the Nile and fully separate living areas within their 710 square foot floor plans. While you’re here, be sure to have at least one dinner at J&G Steakhouse Cairo, where the city lights are reflected in the walls of crystal curtains.

You're here because

The hotel has a beautifully designed kids club, Amulet Children’s Club, where your mini me can delight in foosball, craft stations, PlayStation sessions and more. Plus, a team of topnotch babysitters await.

The Moment

You feel like Cleopatra herself today in the spa, thanks to the Cleopatra Golden Package treatment, which has you steeping in a milk and honey bath. Tomorrow, you’ll be back again to bathe in water dotted with local flower blossoms. Bliss.
