Mahe Island, Seychelles
Four Seasons Seychelles
What it is
A collection of dreamy, glass-walled rooms and villas overlooking the turquoise sea or rainforest, with a hilltop spa and five toothsome restaurants.
What it isn't
Ignoring littles. Kids are pampered here too, thanks to the Kids for All Seasons program, with a dedicated children’s center and marine biology lessons with on-staff pros.
What we think
Unlike many island getaways in the Seychelles, you don’t have to hop yet another plane, chopper or boat to get to this retreat—it’s easily accessed by car, and yet no less paradaisical than the others. Take the guest rooms, for example: each one is a free-standing villa fitted with a private infinity pool and sunken bath tub seat against a glass wall with a jaw dropping panorama (just add a flute of your fave bubbly). We love the 2,002-square-foot one bedroom Serenity Villa, which more than lives up to its moniker with its plunge pool and sundeck; the 17,071 square foot six-bedroom Residence villa is ready to wow Beyonce, thanks to its full kitchen and staff ready to coddle you at all hours. Wherever you stay, you’ll have all the luxuries you’ve come to expect from Four Seasons, including twice daily housekeeping and turndown; multilingual concierges; gratis shoeshines and valet; zippy WiFi; and, almost required here: topnotch air conditioning.
You're here because
You need to reconnect with your partner, majorly, and staffers here are ready to make it happen, with private dinners, flower petal-topped baths, and more ready to cue romance.
You’ve been feeling blissful since you arrived, honestly. How could you not? But your Seychellois sea salt and coconut flake body scrub in the spa puts you into outdoor orbit. Cancel your return flight. You’re never leaving!
