What we think

International DJs descend on this oceanside resort for good reason: it doesn’t sleep. Everything from the spa to the concierge is open 24/7. The guest rooms themselves are restful retreats, with locally-made art, terrazzo and wood floors and 350-thread-count sheets and goose duvets casting cloud-like comfort over the signature W beds. It’s well worth upgrading to a Marvelous villa; each is stocked with a private sundeck and daybed, 43-square-meter plunge pool, Bose entertainment system, terrazzo soaking tub and...of course...valet service for “Whatever/Whenever” available 24 hours a day.

Location

Fronting the Indian Ocean, just two miles from Seminyak’s shopping district. The resort is within walking distance of ancient Masceti Temple, which was erected to ward sea spirits off from the island.
