What we think

For anyone who wants to indulge in a hotel that pampers both Western and traditional Thai aesthetic tastes, this is it. Guest rooms in the Main Wing are adorned in teak wood, black Indian stone (in the bathrooms), and rainforest showers; within the Sukhothai Wing, expect deep soaking tubs and celadon in the bathrooms and rooms outfitted with Nespresso machines and beds swaddled in duck duvets and 400 thread count linens. We particularly love the Club Balcony Room, where amenities include a private balcony that peers out on the pool, floor to ceiling windows (double glazed for soundproofing), Bottega Veneta toiletries and access to the Club Lounge—where abundant breakfasts and afternoon hors d’oeuvres await, gratis.
