Ho-hum. No one gets bored here, with included exploits that range from Thai cooking classes to sunset cocktail parties at Chill on the Hill.

What we think

Paradise, found. Those are the words we think of when we conjure Six Senses Samui. Each and every guest room option here is a villa, and ultra-luxe ones at that—beginning with the 1,400 square foot Hideaway Villa, with its lush garden views, mosquito netted bed under soaring open beam ceilings, and sun deck with an al fresco shower. We recommend the Ocean Front Pool Villas, which (true to their name) are equipped with an 18 square meter private infinity pool set over the Gulf of Thailand. Amenities for all rooms are as plush as you might imagine, including butler service, minibars and espresso machines, and (phew!) individually controlled air conditioning.

The Moment

After yoga, you indulged in the meditation sala at the spa. It was lovely…but nothing could live up to this spa treatment, a four hand massage with warm basalt stones. How do you say “heavenly” in Thai?
