Phú Yên, Vietnam
Zannier Hotels Bai San Ho
Cultural Wonderland
What it is
A 73-villa retreat on 245 beachfront acres, with four superb bars and restaurants, a spa complete with an infinity pool, hammam and tea room, and bottomless activities.
What it isn't
Limited to adults. Children are treasured guests here, too, and have the run of a kids club (ages 2 to 12) where they can do everything from paint conical hats to make lotus flowers—ideal Vietnam souvenirs.
What we think
Guests can choose from three iconic Vietnamese vistas when booking rooms here. Do you want to face the rice paddies, the lush verdant hills, or the pristine white sand beach? Fret not: honestly, you can’t go wrong. We love the 527 square foot Paddy Field Villas, which are up on stilts, equipped with a sculptural soaking tub and separate shower, and peer out on the resort’s flourishing rice paddies. Larger groups will adore the Grand Bay Pool Villa Three-Bedroom, which was inspired by the region’s Ede long houses and has a private infinity pool and a prime perch over the turquoise bay, Bãi San Hô. Either way, you’ll find all the perks required of a phenomenal stay, including a Nespresso machine and kettle, zippy free WiFi, a TV and Yamaha sound bar, and (phew!) air conditioning.
You're here because
Once you’ve got your hotel and flights sorted, you prefer to relax and let the activities come to you. Here, they’re adventuresome—from kayaking to sailing catamarans.
The Moment
Settled into your rattan seat on the terrace Nhà ở, the hotel’s primary restaurant, you let out a contented sigh. You’re not sure what’s more delicious: the sunset over the water or the grilled razor clams in tamarind sauce set before you.

Location
An unsoiled peninsula that’s about an hour’s drive from the airport in Phu Cat (UIH) or 80 minutes from Tuy Hoa (TBB) in Phu Yen.
