What we think

One heart, one love…for The Cliff Hotel. This Jamaican resort is nothing less than exquisite, thanks to peerless service and luxe architecture and design that puts the focus on the turquoise sea. Guest rooms are all suites or villas, and fittingly ginormous (starting at a whopping 480 square feet). Each one is tricked out as if to welcome Bond, James Bond, with private verandas complete with a hammock chair overlooking the water; marble-lined bathrooms with double vanities and a walk-in shower; 350 thread count sheets on the Sealy Posturepedic King Beds; and doting service, including daily housekeeping and turn-down. For a honeymoon (or second honeymoon)-worthy stay, we love the One Bedroom Suite; it’s 720 square feet of bliss, including a canopy bed swaddled in dreamy mosquito netting and a separate living and dining room perfect for hosting cocktail hour. Very Bond.

Zest Bar - With a chic interior that extends into an expansive clifftop terrace, you can either sip a refreshingly light bottle of wine surrounded by hanging lights, with the sound of the Caribbean sea as your backdrop, or get cozy inside surrounded by a mellow vibe that promises great conversation and even greater company.

Swim Up Bar - If you don’t want to get out of the pool (and really why should you?), then backstroke over to our sunken Swim-Up bar. Grab an underwater stool and choose from any number of exotic frozen blends. Might we suggest a cooling blend of rum therapy, by way of a frozen “‘Dirty Banana.”

Cliff Deck Bar - Offering some of the best, sunset views on the island, The Cliff Deck bar is the perfect outdoor spot to watch Island life go by.
