Grace Bay, Turks & Caicos
The Palms Turks And Caicos
Colonial Grandeur
What it is
A 72-room resort fronting 12 pristine white sand acres of Grace Bay Beach, with an infinity pool and massive 25,000-square-foot spa.
What it isn't
On island time. Staffers will be happy to prepare you a boxed lunch to tote on your daily adventures, or even set up a tiki torch lit dinner on the beach (live music included).
What we think
Luxury starts with a capital L at The Palms. There are only suites (and above) here, which means even the most “basic” room is a whopping 640 square foot Junior Suite, and fitted with hand-tufted bedding, a king-sized bed and private terrace for evening wine hour. Upgrade to a three bedroom suite for a wraparound porch that overlooks glass clear turquoise water and some 2,900-square-feet of breathing room. (Note that most room options have a kitchen and even washer/dryer, for that condo-away-from-home vibe).
You're here because
The spa is one of the best in the Caribbean, thanks to treatments like the Mother of Pearl Scrub—in which you’ll be polished (for 90 minutes!) with hand-crushed queen conch shells and sea salts, then massaged with mother-of-pearl body milk. Mermaids and mermen, take note.
The Moment
You’re over sunbathing. But moonbathing? You’ve never been more delighted. Sitting on the beach under the cool glow of the full moon and stars, you’re treated to mini spa treatments and cocktails to sip—perhaps the perfect and to a perfect day.
