Gulf of Chiriqui, Panama
Islas Secas
Private Island Paradise
What we think
Skylark only includes hotels that meet our stamp of approval. Our editorial review for this one isn’t ready yet — but we’re working on it! Below is the hotel’s own description.
At Islas Secas, we share a spirit of adventure and discovery with our guests, by providing them with world-class experiences that connect them to the natural beauty and ecological abundance of Panama’s wild Pacific Coast. With 75% of the archipelago left undeveloped and a property that is 100% powered by natural energy, we aim to create a model for sustainable tourism, combining exhilarating recreation and effortless luxury with a strong ethos if environmental stewardship and community support. Located some 20 miles off Panama’s Pacific coast, the 14 jungle-covered islands of the Islas Seas archipelago feel remote, wild, and untamed. Only Isla Cavada has been developed, the rest remain completely untouched, just waiting to be discovered. Each of our seven Casitas is set in a secluded area on the main island. Escape to your luxurious sanctuary surrounded by the sounds and beauty of the jungle, with your own private plunge pool under a thatch-roof bohio, outdoor dining area and shower. Heaven.
