Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik
What it is
A just-revamped icon carved into a 98-foot-high cliff on the Adriatic, with 91 modern gray and white guest rooms and a freshwater pool in the spa.
What it isn't
Hands off. Guests are coddled with 24-hour room service, gratis WiFi...they’ll even do your laundry and dry cleaning.
What we think
The Pinterest-perfect lifestyle has made it to Croatia, and this hotel is proof. Rooms are done in sand dollar grays, satin-finished oak and seafoam whites—with stripes, metallics and chevron patterns galore. Ask for one of the new rooms, all of which have floor-to-ceiling glass doors out to private terraces—a touch that feels more SoCal than Balkans. Hit the just over 2,100-square-foot spa to take a dip in an oval freshwater indoor pool that seems to flow into the Adriatic, plus a mosaic-lined steam room and authentic Finnish sauna.
You're here because
You prefer to eat where the Michelin guide tells you to, and at this hotel, it’s Vapor Restaurant—where you can tuck into sea bass tartare at an alfresco table on the oceanfront cliff.
After a too-long flight, the offerings at the spa make you smile—in a good way. Should you opt for “Cellulite Free Girl” or “Energy Clinic Fit Figure”? You’re exhausted, so cave and go for the most blissful option imaginable: “Four-Hand Energizing Massage.” After 50 minutes of that, you’ll be primed to hit the hotel’s wine bar—with no whining.

Less than a mile from Old Town Dubrovnik, and 13 miles from the airport. In short: you’re abutting the action, but a galaxy away—perched on your frothy seafront cliff.
