What we think

Courchevel and the Himalayas have one major thing in common: jagged peaks so stunning that they literally take your breath away. The brilliant design minds behind Hotel Le K2 Palace bring a serene feeling from the Tibetan summits to Courchevel in each and every room, thanks to a palette of cool grays and warm currant reds. Classic Rooms begin at 355 square feet, tricked out with an Italian shower and separate soaking tub, dressing room, living space, and a balcony that peers out on the snow-capped mountains. (Families love the ginormous duplex suites, which include a bunk room, a king room and so much more within the 882 square foot floor plans.) Whatever room you choose, expect amenities that can only be described as luxurious, including Sonos smart speakers, loaner iPads, an Apple TV and Nespresso machine.

The Moment

After stepping into the two Michelin starred Le Sarkara restaurant pâtissier gastronomique, you already think they deserve a galaxy. From your table overlooking the slopes, the only thing more delectable than the celeriac sorbet with bourbon vanilla before you is the view out the window: toothlike summits swirling with powdered sugar.

Le Kintessence - For dinner, Nicolas Sale offers creativity and lightness, a triple performance, three variations on a theme. A gourmet’s paradise in an intimate atmosphere, Le Kintessence is entirely devoted to haute cuisine, where the chef reveals delicately prepared dishes, the quintessence of the expertise and creativity of culinary craftsmanship. In february 2014, Le Kintessence was awarded two Michelin stars.

Le Black Pyramid - The inventive buffets at Le Black Pyramid restaurant offer a wealth of sweet and savoury delights for breakfast and brunch. At dinner, Nicolas Sale’s culinary world is an experience filled with tradition and surprises. In an exceptional setting, the K2 wine cellar located at Le Black Pyramid restaurant is home to the very finest bottles, almost 1100 exemplary wines.

Le 8611 Bar - In a friendly and warm atmosphere, Le 8611 bar takes the art of mixing cocktails to the highest level. Our head barman draws inspiration from the great cocktail classics, dreaming up original creations to be enjoyed in the lounges of Le 8611 and beside the fireplace.

Le Winston Klub - After dinner or for a moment’s enjoyment with friends, Le Winston Klub offers a calm and refined atmosphere. Its exceptional selection of old and very rare spirits and fine cigars from around the world give every reason for taking one’s time.
