Zannier Hotels Le Chalet
What it is
A storybook 12-room hotel with an earthy spa and hammam, stone walled locavore restaurant, lounge bar, and abundant included breakfasts.
What it isn't
Equipped with its own gym. But you didn’t come to torch calories (and guests have access to a local 24/7 sports complex complete with an ice rink).
What we think
If you’ve ever wanted to check in to a fairytale, this is it. Every room at Le Chalet feels like a scene from Heidi, starting with the 322 square foot Deluxe Rooms, tucked into roofline alcoves with exposed beam ceilings and twig furniture (plus all the perks of modern life, including satellite TV, a Nespresso machine, and sound system). For even more room to roam, book the 1,076 square foot Suite 2, which has a bed tucked into a scalloped wood nook, living room with a massive stone fireplace, walk-in closet and a terrace that overlooks the slopes.
You're here because
Staffers are in-the-know and happy to help plan unforgettable experiences, whether you want to ski with an Olympian or try dog sledding.
You’re zonked from a morning on the slopes, and blessedly the spa has the cure: a deep tissue massage and instant glow facial. And a steep in the hammam, of course.
