What we think
This is a truly out-of-the-ordinary hotel in the Parisian landscape. Above all, it is a showcase of contemporary design. Over 400 pieces of local contemporary art lines the property, but the tremendous architecture of the building is the true art piece. Designer Jean-Philippe Nuel took this former France Telecom building (circa the 1930s) and crafted the interiors so that no wall or ceiling is simply a straight line. You’ll probably spend at least an hour ogling the inspired design of this hotel. Once you’re done exploring the hotel, you’ll be happy to know that the 67 rooms and suites, though equally as contemporary and design-focused are comfortable and luxurious. Starting at 194 square feet, the rooms are on the smaller side so if this is an issue, it’ll pay to upgrade to a Duplex Room or one of the suites. After you’ve settled into your room, you’ll undoubtedly find yourself sipping an aperitif on the hotel’s leafy veranda, which is best when illuminated by candles as the sun goes down.
