Saint-Tropez, France
Lou Pinet Hotel
Vintage vibes and contemporary elegance
What we think
Skylark only includes hotels that meet our stamp of approval. Our editorial review for this one isn’t ready yet — but we’re working on it! Below is the hotel’s own description.
The chirping of cicadas and clinking of ice in glasses are the soundtrack to days at Hotel Lou Pinet. Tucked among pine trees within touching distance of the beaches of Saint-Tropez- the hotel offers a serene retreat from the crowds of the glamorous coastal town. Three striking buildings with quintessential French shutters are set around a picture-perfect pool- complete with spotless white sun-loungers. The hotel has been designed to recapture the ethos of 60s and 70s Saint-Tropez- and spaces have an authentic and effortlessly chic feel. So- expect rooms and suites filled with sunshine and natural textures of wood and linen- complemented by black highlights and colourful prints. Verdant Mediterranean gardens surround the hotel- making it perfect for a stroll among fragrant orange and lemon trees- and the generations-old stone pines that give the hotel its name. Hidden away in these grounds is the intimate spa and wellness centre- where real-world cares can be soothed away with Tata Harper products. And for dinner- the hotel restaurant Beefbar offers a relaxed yet upscale ambiance for dining on the finest steaks and freshest seafood.
