Roomers Frankfurt
Social Butterfly
What it is
A 105-room, 11-suite ode to the night life, with a sleek, futuristic spa, burlesque bar, and a gym overlooking the cityscape.
What it isn't
Poorly serviced. Guests have access to all the luxury pampering you’d expect from a 5-star hotel, including 24-hour room service, shoeshines, valet dry cleaning and laundry, chauffeured limousine bookings, a concierge, babysitting, and daily housekeeping.
What we think
If modernist artist James Turrell ever designed a spa, it might look something like the one at Roomers: where glossy wood slats sculpturally wrap around every inch of the sauna, glass bead tubs (just as tactile as they sound) and rooftop solarium. Guest rooms, comparatively, look as if they sprung from one of Frankfurt’s buzzing techno night clubs, with moody purple walls, box tufted headboards and dim black lampshades muting each light’s glow. It’s worth upgrading to a suite for an extra living space, complete with disco ball art that sets a “When in Frankfurt” tone.
You're here because
The spa has an in-room treatment option, and your top 10 favorite thing is to have a La Prairie facial and shiatsu massage and then instantly take a nap.
The Moment
Hotel cocktail bars don’t get any better than this one at Roomers, where Frankfurt locals rub elbows over mixologist-made cocktails. Tonight, you have a spring in your step, so you opt for the TIA: tequila, bergamot, tangerine and apple.
