What we think

If you think a hotel housed within a circa 1896 post office is stuffy and stuck in time, you’d be wrong—at least in this case. Every room here fully embraces the present and would satisfy George Jetson himself. That begins in the 269 square foot Classic Rooms, which are fitted with Bang & Olufsen sound systems, Nespresso coffee makers, underfloor heating for coziness underfoot, rain showers in the bath, a smart flatscreen TV, zippy free wifi, and Diptyque bath toiletries. Interiors by local designer Harald Klein are colorful but cozy, and each room features a plush Sofitel MyBed. For a jaw-dropping experience, we love the 1,884-square-foot Magnificent Apartment; the ceilings are nearly 20 feet tall, and you’ll have amenities that range from whirlpools and steam baths to two balconies with postcard-worthy views.
