What we think

Banyan Tree is known for its jaw-dropping yet sustainable resorts in Asia, and this, their first European location, is everything you’ve come to expect and more. Guest rooms are nothing less than ginormous (starting at 420 square feet), each fitted with a balcony, marble-lined bathroom, and clean-lined, ecru-hued interiors that feel instantly serene. We love the Ionian Seaview Corner Suite for its 861 square foot floor plan and postcard-perfect panorama over the sea beyond your floor to ceiling glass doors. To feel as free-range as the bottlenose dolphins that live in the waters below, opt for the Ionian Seaview One-Bedroom Pool Villa, which has a kitchenette, separate living room and its own private daybed-lined pool.
