What it is
A hush-hush secret of the glitterati, with just five suites and villas, a spa and an infinity pool overlooking the Aegean.
What it isn't
Poorly serviced. Guests are pampered with doting butlers, daily turndown and housekeeping, 24-hour room service and even daily breakfast in your suite or villa.
What we think
“Exquisite” doesn’t begin to describe Kivotos, where you’ll have a 180-degree panorama over the Caldera and the twinkling waters of the Aegean. Rooms themselves are every bit worthy of their locale, with minimalist interiors, private terraces (complete with al fresco jacuzzis) and even a cutout that showcases the view from the foot of your bed, like haute art. We love the truly custom feel; guests can select their ideal lighting scheme (down to the color) and even which curated playlist suits them best, and the mini bar is stocked with Greek beverages. With its rounded ceilings and cave-like, stone-walled interiors, the Deluxe Suite is a jaw-dropper you’ll never forget.
You're here because
You like to feel like you’re one in a million, and with only five guest rooms, you will.
Taking in the sunset from the poolside restaurant, you’re feeling a little reborn, like Aphrodite herself arisen from the sea below. When your waiter brings you a fresh plate of fried white aubergines and baked calamari, it’s settled. You’re never leaving.
In Imerovigli, a serene corner of Santorini, a short stroll from the hiking mecca of Skaros Rock—an outcropped peninsula where locals defended themselves from pirate attacks in the middle ages.
