What we think
Even the word “Capri” is a vacation, in two simple syllables. But Hotel La Scalinatella has captured all that makes the destination iconic and pinned it down, like a butterfly, for all to enjoy. Guest rooms are charming and airy, beginning with the 269 square foot Classic rooms, which are adorned with blue and white ceramic tiles, furniture with inlaid wood, and French doors that fling open to a lush garden terrace. If you’re not on Capri often it’s absolutely worth treating yourself to one of the Suites; they’re a 699-square-foot wonderland of barrel vaulted ceilings and antique furniture, with a jacuzzi and private terrace perring out on the glimmering Bay of Marina Piccola.
