Guest rooms look like they were designed for “Under the Umbrian Sun,” with their locally carved four post beds, exposed ceiling beams and gauzy curtains that billow in the breeze. And the beauty is truly in the details here: desks lined in Italian leather in nearby Marche; chairs inspired by the ‘Cardinal’ seats used in the Vatican; bathrooms lined in ecru marble…shall we go on? The Junior Suites may be our favorite, thanks to 16th century antique furniture, sitting areas, and outsized 409 square foot floor plans.
