Lacking in provenance. Former guests have included everyone from the Prince of Wales to the Rockefellers.
What we think
When you’re in a city as storied as Rome—the town where everything from concrete roads to newspapers were invented—it’s wise to stay somewhere historic. Sina Bernini Bristol more than fits the bill. And while you can instantly feel the aura of the illustrious guests of the past here, the design is also thoroughly modern, thanks to a recent revamp. We adore even the most “basic” room here, which is anything but: the 291 square foot Superior Rooms are fitted with soaring ceilings, bathrooms lined in Travertine marble, and custom furniture. Our favorite option, though, is inarguably the 6th floor, 753-square-foot Tritone Suite with Terrace; you’ll have your own private rooftop pool overlooking the red tile roofs of the neighborhood. Not even Julius Caesar had it this good.
