What we think

If Hollywood rom-com movie director Nancy Meyers were reborn as an Italian resort, she would look something like this one. Each and every guest room here is an airy yet earthy respite with exposed white ceiling beams, a color palette of whites and blonde woods, serene art, and large expanses of glass that let daylight to flow free-range. We even love the “starting” room category, 323 square foot Twin Deluxe Rooms, which are tricked out with a balcony, espresso maker, minibar, and Byredo toiletries in the bathrooms adorned with natural stone. But if you’re not here often, it’s worth splurging on a 377 square foot King Grand Deluxe Room with Sea View: the cerulean hues of the Mediterranean Sea and the lagoon beyond your terrace will take your breath away. While you’re here, take advantage of their staff-planned experiences; they range from Land Rover tours through UNESCO protected holm oak forests to dinners with the shepherds that make local pecorino (yes, you’ll get to meet some sheep).
