Rocco Forte Private Villas Verdura Resort
Opulent Idyll
What it is
A brand new collection of 20 showstopping villas adjacent to an oceanfront mega resort with 8 bars and restaurants, a 43,000-square-foot spa, and two championship golf courses (one of them new in 2021).
What it isn't
Lacking anything. You’ll feel like you own your villa, but can dip your toe in the resort’s pampering waters just down the coast, which include a private beach with a flotilla of watercraft, a 196-foot-long pool and floodlit clay tennis courts.
What we think
Perched on their own verdant grounds adjacent to 568-acre Verdura Resort, these villas are arguably the most indulgent stays in Sicily. For one thing, you’ll be treated like a literal rock star, with your kitchen stocked to your exact specifications before your arrival (want a private chef? Just ask). Guest relations executives are at-the-ready to attend to your every whim, whether you’d like an in-room massage after your round of golf or a private limousine transfer to the airport. Most of all, we can’t get enough of the villas themselves—each one has floor-to-ceiling windows that peep out on olive and citrus groves, airy floor plans (some three bedroom, some four) and turquoise pools that appear to fade into the Mediterranean sea.
You're here because
Each villa was sustainably built and comes equipped with a linen exchange program and electric vehicle charging outlet. BYO Tesla.
The Moment
You had a thoroughly #treatyoself morning at the main resort’s spa, including a volcanic hot stone massage and apricot and sea salt scrub. So you’ve opted for only one more thing on your to-do list today, and that’s lounging in a daybed by your private pool back at the villa. La dolce vita, indeed.
