Susafa
A True Refuge For the Soul
What it is
A soulful Sicilian farmhouse reimagined as a rural hideaway, where heritage runs deep, the air smells of wild herbs, and slow living isn’t just encouraged—it’s essential.
What it isn't
Susafa isn’t polished in the traditional sense. No marble lobbies or smart TVs—this is luxury that breathes, made of handwoven linens, sun-baked terracotta, and the kind of silence you didn’t know you missed.
What we think
There are places you stay, and there are places that stay with you. Susafa is the latter. Set on a 200-year-old family estate in Sicily’s Madonie Mountains, this former granary-turned-hotel leans into its past without being stuck in it. Rooms are simple and elegant, with arched ceilings, natural textures, and views that roll on for miles. Meals are a highlight—each dish a love letter to the land, with ingredients harvested on-site or nearby. The pool looks like it was poured into the landscape, the staff greet you by name, and the days seem to stretch out in every direction.
You're here because
You seek an immersive Sicilian countryside retreat that offers personalized service, regional cuisine, and a deep connection to nature and history.
