Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel
All-suite castle in the Tuscan hillside
What it is
A Tuscan farm village turned luxurious private estate.
What it isn't
Ideal for those looking to spend their days off-property exploring Tuscany (there’s so much to do on site!)
What we think
Sitting on 4,200 acres in a restored 10th-century castle, Castello di Casole is truly its own private Tuscan estate. What once was a village has now been transformed into a luxurious 41-suite hotel offering authentic Italian cuisine, a glamorous infinity pool and a hefty list of activities to fill your days. A lengthy restoration has really brought this hotel back to its former glory; you’ll feel like you’re being transported to another world. Everything about this property, from the expansive country grounds to the historic stone foundation, is reminiscent of another time. In particular, the rooms feature terracotta floors, rich wood-beamed ceilings and plaster-finished walls that all remain true to the Tuscan backdrop. And, if staying on this enormous estate wasn’t private enough, the fact that the hotel is all-suite will likely seal the deal.
You're here because
You appreciate classic Tuscan style and would a more private getaway.

As you dip your toe in the hillside infinity pool, you savor your last sip of Castello di Casole’s estate-grown red wine blend.
