Come hungry. Corinthia has more dining options than many small towns, whether you’re hangry for all-American fare at sports bar-inspired Henry J. Bean’s (get the rib eye with garlic butter and housemade coleslaw) or charred Venezuelan octopus with jalapeno tartar and crushed potatoes at al fresco South American restaurant Susurrus, which sits across from the sand. The best part of indulging here is knowing your cozy room is right upstairs, whether you book a “standard” Superior Room (290 square feet with a private balcony and gratis access to the Apollo by Dee Spa), or a megawatt luxury Junior Suite, with its expansive 464 square foot floor plan, separate living room and the ultimate perk: bottomless refreshments throughout the day at the Executive Club Lounge. Whichever you book, don’t miss booking some waterlogged fun; they have everything from paddle boats and jet-skis to a full-on yacht you can charter.
