The prestigious Anantara group has finally landed in the Algarve, bringing with them their own brand of sleek luxury and unrivalled guest facilities. Their Algarve resort is fun for the whole fam, with two pools for children, world-renowned kids’ and teens’ clubs and a host of activities from tennis to seaside lounging at the nearby private Purobeach club. Rooms all have private terraces and a fresh, contemporary design with thoughtful artistic touches from local Portuguese artists. As a plus, bathrooms are stocked with Elemis amenities and are all equipped with rain showers.

Golf is undoubtedly the king at the Anantara. The hotel looks out onto the Victoria golf course, as do all of the rooms. If you can’t get enough of the gorgeous view, Emo, the hotel’s Bruno Viegas helmed restaurant, has open air dining overlooking the course. Under his direction, the Anantara serves locally grown and caught fare with a refreshing contemporary nod to keep those inspired Med dishes lively.
