AlmaLusa Baixa/Chiado
Spirit and Style on the Square
What we think
Skylark only includes hotels that meet our stamp of approval. Our editorial review for this one isn’t ready yet — but we’re working on it! Below is the hotel’s own description.
AlmaLusa Baixa/Chiado sits on the iconic Praca do Municipio an 18th-century square built after an earthquake destroyed Lisbon in 1755. The hotel seeks to harness this historical spirit and heritage to immerse its guests in an authentic Portuguese experience. The guestrooms therefore combine classic and contemporary design each taking inspiration from a Portuguese aristocratic tradition. Nonetheless each contains a modern en-suite bathroom high-speed wireless internet air conditioning and a large HD television. The Delfina restaurant too serves genuine Portuguese gastronomy using seasonal ingredients and local wines. The hotel is charming authentic and perfectly located in the centre of Lisbon.
