What it is
An ultra-luxe retreat with a serene spa (complete with a water therapy circuit), indoor heated pool, and four bars and restaurants abuzz with locals.
What it isn't
Just for grown-ups. Kids get pampered here, too—there’s even a Children’s Spa menu offering mini foot massages, facials, and mani pedis (in rainbow-bright colors, of course).
What we think
If you’re hanking for Old World grace, Corinthia Lisbon is your ideal hotel. Guest rooms are traditionally appointed with crisply tailored furnishings, a neutral color palette, and abundant draperies, plus perks galore, including Nespresso machines, ESPA toiletries, smart TVs and even a mini bar. Superior Rooms begin at 269 square feet; we love the Deluxe City View for the slightly larger floor plan (322 square feet) that includes a sitting area overlooking the cityscape. If you’re bringing the fam, you can’t do better than the Family Room; it’s a sprawling 644 square feet with two bathrooms, kids welcome amenities, mini-me robes and slippers and littles 12 and under stay free. Did we mention the hotel staff are happy to arrange babysitting services with pros? Expect top notch service here for all ages.
You're here because
You love a hotel with an indoor pool; this one has the airy feeling of a solarium and even has a pool menu for waterside nibbles of prawns and mango with Sexy Tay cocktails (coconut Ciroc, citrus and Benedictine).
After a day exploring the ancient sights, you’re nothing less than hangry—and beyond delighted that the hotel’s gastronomic restaurant is fiercely authentic. At your table set under a lush living wall, you’re ordering the works: cod tempura with garlic and coriander; ox wrapped in pastry with smoked mayo; and wood-fired goat cheese with pumpkin jam.
