Ibiza, Spain
Aguas de Ibiza
Eco & Effortless
What it is
The most environmentally friendly respite on Ibiza’s rollicking shores.
What it isn't
A 24/7 party. Named for water (and fronting the Med), the hotel prides itself on a calming, spa-like vibe.
What we think
Aguas de Ibiza may be eco-friendly, but you don’t have to learn the Spanish word for “granola.” This is luxurious to the core, from the parquet floors to the adults-only pool (no cannonballs in sight). The 112 clean-lined guest rooms feature glass-walled baths, Bang & Olufsen phones, and (sí!) pillow menus, so you don’t have to reenact that old childhood fable, The Princess and the Pea. And since beauty doesn’t go on vacation, the Clarins Skin Spa is top-of-the-line and appropriately “local.” You’ll be massaged with Ibiza-grown herbs and exfoliated with Mediterranean olive scrub. Request a room with a terrace overlooking Formentera island—you’ll thank us later.
You're here because
You want to sample Ibiza’s nightlife and beach clubs, but would prefer to avoid a thumping bass soundtrack all hours of the day and night.
The Moment
You’ve had plenty of champagne breakfasts, but never a breakfast buffet like this: held in a light-filled space so cool it could have been designed by Tom Dixon (the actual designers: Triade Studio). It’s the perfect start to a day of poolside lounging—and kicking back caipirinha cocktails.
Restaurants & Bars
Öligo - Buffet style breakfast and a la carte Mediterranean cuisine
Vi Cool by Sergi Arola - Spanish tapas restaurant
Location
On Ibiza’s eastern coastline, about a half an hour’s drive from the airport and Old Town—though plenty of club-hopping fun can be had just a white pebble’s throw from your patio.
