What we think

Europeans j’adore Ibiza for good reason—weather-wise, it’s a paradise, and it’s just two hours from most major European cities. But it wasn’t until Six Senses Ibiza opened in 2021 that you’d find a truly serene, spa-like stay in the area known for dancing into the wee hours. Guest rooms are ginormous, beginning at 420 square feet (plus a 237-square-foot courtyard stocked with citrus trees) for a Hideaway Deluxe. Our favorite room option may be the Sea View Deluxe, with a rooftop terrace that’s partially shaded by a stick roof and complete with a grassy knoll flanked by Mediterranean plants, and a glass fence overlooking the sea. Either way, you’ll find amenities that range from the calm (a yoga mat, a pillow menu) to the party-ready (Bluetooth speakers; a mini bar). While you’re here, be sure to stop in at the Farmers’ Market right on the premises, and complete with wood-fired pizzas and a juice bar.

The resort is BREEAM certified—i.e. as sustainable as possible. Among it’s eco-accolades: Six Senses Ibiza saves 40% of its carbon emissions by producing its own renewable energy and even contributes to a nearby hedgehog sanctuary (just as cute as it sounds).
