Ibiza, Spain
W Ibiza
Highly anticipated and off the beaten track
What it is
A 162-room respite fronting Santa Eularia beach, with 7 restaurants and bars and a beautifying spa.
What it isn't
Tailored to young ones. This is Ibiza at its most playful, with a new adults-only rooftop bar and an off the beaten track palm-fringed locale.
What we think
If Ibiza is one of the last remaining Partyopolis’s, W Ibiza is its shiny new castle. Booking even a “Cozy Room” results in your having a boho-styled retreat with a partial sea view, plus a mini bar, wet bar and 24-hour room service...should you crave fries at 3 a.m. (It happens, especially after a few cocktails with your toes in the sand). Don’t miss at least a few treatments in the brand new spa, which, awash in pinks and yellows and lucite galore, may well be the most club-like spa on the planet. (No surprise on this island of the see-and-be-seen: the manicures, blowouts, makeup services and waxing will be top-notch).
You're here because
Staying swimsuit-ready is harder than getting swimsuit-ready, especially in Spain—land of saliatory foodstuffs. Blessedly, the W Ibiza has a 24-hour FIT gym that feels like its own type of club—complete with kettlebells, bosu balls and mural-adorned walls.
The Moment
Steakhouses are better in Spain. They just are. But La Llama, helmed by chef Haim Cohen, may be the most delicious you’ve ever had. Chef cooks everything by fire, making it taste as primal as you feel after a day in the sun.

Location
You’re less than half a mile from biking trails, jet-skiing, hiking and kayaking opportunities here...but if you want to just chillax on the beach, we won’t tell. Ibiza Airport is a mere 13 mile drive away, and while the hotel doesn’t have a shuttle, taxis are rife (and cost about 35 euros one way).
