Fairmont Tremblant

Alpine Excellence

What it is

A ski-in, ski-out lodge with 314 rooms, a gleaming spa and salon, and three cravings-inducing restaurants.

What it isn't

Just about skiing. Activities abound here, whether you want to ice skate alongside St Bernard Chapel, join the local astronomy club on the hotel terrace, take a guided morning walk or curl up beside the pool’s campfire for fresh-roasted marshmallows.

What we think

If Ralph Lauren were headed out on a ski holiday, he might choose to stay here—where rooms are decked in plaids, classic black and white art and brass and blonde wood finishes. Families rave over the Fairmont Junior Suites with Kitchenettes, thanks to (yes) the handy cookspaces, but also the extra sofa bed and roomy interior (up to 518 square feet). Whichever room category you choose, amenities are luxe, including Le Labo Rose 31 toiletries, robes for lounging, Keurig coffee makers and down duvet-topped beds you won’t ever want to leave. For a cozy apres-ski night, the in-room dining program is among the best we’ve ever seen; the menu includes beef flank steak with maple and balsam myrique marinade; French onion soup with St-Arnold beer; and, this being Tremblant, poutine (french fries topped with St. Guillaume cheese curds and gravy.)

You're here because

Guests have access to their “first tracks” program. Translation? You can hop on the ski lifts 45 minutes earlier than everybody else, meaning you’ll be the first to carve your ski prints in the fresh pow.

The Moment

At Choux Gras Brasserie, you’re not sure what’s more alluring: your view of the slopes or the wizardry of the on-staff pastry chefs. But then you bite into your bacon and apricot brioche, and it’s settled. The wizardry.

Restaurants & Bars

Le Comptoir Cuisine du Marché - Daily breakfast à la carte menu

Choux Gras Brasserie Culinaire - Brasserie using local and seasonal products with traditional and decadent meals, like duck foie gras in a terrine or a whole roasted chicken

Axe Lounge Bar - Creative cocktails and an extensive wine list

Ricochet Café et Terrasse - Perfect spot for a refreshing cocktail or a casual lunch

Location

Tucked at the base of the ski lifts in the Tremblant mountains, just a few blocks walk from the shore of Lake Tremblant. While you’re here, hiking in Mont-Tremblant National Park is a must—and not just because it contains 400 lakes and streams.
