What we think

If you could dream up your perfect natural Baja escape, it would probably look like this: a regionally-inspired wonderland with all the trappings of earthy hotel luxury, including handmade Coco-Mat mattresses, custom kimono robes, Sferra linens, toiletries from Malin + Goetz, and so much more. We particularly love the Ocean Plunge Pool Suite for its panoramic views of the water, locally woven textiles in the separate living space, and indoor/outdoor shower and al fresco soaking tub. The Ocean King is another stunner, complete with an private patio and lounge with sun swept daybeds and a protective canopy. And before you ask: yes, each room has A.C. and a ceiling fan. (Comfort is paramount.) Be sure to ask about events during your stay; staffers often offer ceviche-cooking classes with Punta Lobos fishermen, mezcal tastings, and spiritual sessions, more.

The Moment

Usually, you venture beyond the hotel grounds for at least one meal when you’re in Mexico…but not here. Benno is everything you could wish from a seafront Baja joint. Tonight’s dishes? A grilled catch of the day with green mole and purslane and churros with house made dulce de leche.

Restaurants & Bars

Benno - Offers a union of classic Mexican and Mediterranean cuisine, built on the diverse culinary abundance of Baja. The restaurant is open to the public for dinner every day from 5 until 10 pm and for breakfast from 7 until 11 am daily.

Pool Bar - Dine on casual fare and sip cocktails while you take in the sunset post-swim.

Cosecha - Cosecha is a farm–to–table approach with large format, family-style dishes featuring fresh salads, whole-cooked fish, and accompaniments directly from our huerto garden.
