Hacienda Xcanatun By Angsana
Be transported back to an era of regional splendor
What we think
Skylark only includes hotels that meet our stamp of approval. Our editorial review for this one isn’t ready yet — but we’re working on it! Below is the hotel’s own description.
This 18th century hacienda has been converted into a small luxury hotel with an outdoor swimming pool and spa. It is just 2 minutes’ drive from Mexican Federal Highway 281. All rooms have iPod docking stations. The spa offers a variety of beauty and wellness treatments using New Age and ancient Mayan relaxation techniques. Hacienda Xcanatun by Angsana’s rooms are spacious, with marble flooring and a contemporary style décor. All rooms have air conditioning and private bathrooms. There are no TVs in the rooms. At Casa de Piedra restaurant, guests can sit out on the veranda and enjoy a fusion of French cuisine with Caribbean and Yucatan ingredients. There is also a bar and outdoor seating overlooking the lush gardens. Hacienda Xcanatun by Angsana is a 5-minute drive from the Dzibilchaltun ruins, while the Mayan World Museum, Mérida Convention Center, and Galerías Mérida Shopping Centre are within a 15-minute drive. Mérida International Airport is 26 kilometers away.
