What we think
It feels like no peso was spared in this 349-room resort, where every room category is as enticing as the next. Even the “starter” tropical view guest rooms are full-throttle fabulous, including sweeping 505-square-foot floor plans, balconies complete with their own relaxation tubs, and de facto in-room spa in the bath. Honeymooning…or just acting like it? It’s worth splurging on the 1,565 square foot Governors Suite for its separate living and dining spaces, rainfall shower and soaking tub, not to mention a butler who will help you unpack, prep your beach cabana, steer you in the direction of the best local guacamole…the list goes on. Of course, it’s not likely you’ll spend much time in your room here. A whole world of thrills await right on the premises—including a Mayan-inspired spa.

CHIRINGUITOS - Dotting beaches all around the Caribbean Sea, chiringuitos serve refreshing drinks and snacks under the cover of a woven palapa. Our three chiringuitos serve a constantly revolving menu of pool-friendly delights in the open air.
