What it is

What it isn't

Set right on the beach. But thanks to their partnership with the private and pristine Ikal Beach Club, guests can lounge on the daybed-lined powdery sand all day; it’s all a mere 15 minute shuttle or 2.5 mile ride away via the hotel’s loaner bikes.

What we think

Sumptuous and pampering luxuries are a Kimpton trademark, both in their guest rooms and out—and that’s just as true south of the border. In guest rooms here, you’ll be treated to Frette linens and Atelier Bloem bath toiletries, plus yoga mats, LCD Smart Tv’s and iHome speakers to help you live your best life on vacay. Outside the rooms? Gratis evening social hour; morning coffee; and more. Even the starter room category here is large at 444 square feet; we found it’s worth splurging on a Suite for the rain shower, king sized four-post bed and ginormous 834 square foot floor plan. While you’re here, don’t miss the breakfast buffet at their airy restaurant Parallel 20˚; it’s overly abundant and exactly the kind of meal you should indulge in on vacation.
