In a colonial town like San Miguel de Allende, no one wants to feel like they’re staying at a blah business hotel. And that’s where Dos Casas comes in. The property is a combination of two fanciful homes from the 19th century, made modern with top notch amenities and sumptuous interior design. Rooms are warm and womb-like, many with textural exposed brick walls and postcard-worthy views over town. We love 101 for its small terrace, and the Rooftop Suite Town View, where you’ll have your own private terrace that’s ideal for sipping a note-perfect margarita as the sun sets. Room 106, too, is a honeymooner’s dream—you’ll find an outdoor shower plus jacuzzi on your terrace.
