Hotel Amparo
Turn-of-the-century Spanish comfort
What we think
Skylark only includes hotels that meet our stamp of approval. Our editorial review for this one isn’t ready yet — but we’re working on it! Below is the hotel’s own description.
.
True to its name—Amparo means “shelter”—the hotel invites guests to a choice of five intimately appointed suites nestled around a private interior courtyard. Each nook, each fabric, each moment, is considered and one stay will never resemble another. Amparo’s idyllic setting beckons spontaneous weekend escapes as well as extended stays for groups of friends, reunions or wedding parties. This historic home was remodeled in the early 1900s, and again recently, led by a noted team of architects and artisans. Like its inhabitants, Hotel Amparo's walls are well-traveled and textured. Come discover this hidden gem for yourself.
