What we think

La-la-land gets a buttoned-up remake to wow silver screen starlets and latter day celebs alike at Cameo Beverly Hills. Here, suites are worthy of a close-up: finely honed retreats with teak flooring, five-fixture bathrooms (complete with deep soaking tubs), and twin private balconies for taking in the cityscape from the tenth and eleventh floors, not to mention outsized floor plans starting at 755 square feet. But we’d wager that even up-and-coming actor types would feel pampered in the starter “studio” category, thanks to similarly indulgent amenities and square footage (460 square feet). Every single room in the hotel is tricked out with Casa Rovea bed linens, carrera marble-lined bathrooms with rain showers, and Italian-made furniture. Here, quality counts.
