Denver, Colorado
Four Seasons Denver
Mile High Marvel
What it is
A centrally-located high rise hotel with a tech-forward spa and a rooftop pool.
What it isn't
Stingy. The hotel provides morning coffee and tea, zippy WiFi, and a gratis private bar in your room.
What we think
Ask for a mountain view room here, and you may never leave it. Guest rooms at Four Seasons Denver are huge enough to stay forever (starting at 410 square feet), and fitted with marble bathrooms, a writing desk hewn of glass and wood, and myriad other comforts, including down pillows and duvets, twice-daily housekeeping (plus turndown service!), silk-padded hangers and even a humidifier and air-ionizer on request—often a good idea in this city at 5,280 feet above sea level. The hotels many repeat guests love that they needn’t go far to dine on Colorado’s best fare; Edge Restaurant is renowned for its bison burgers with slabs of fried Red Rock cheddar as well as a 30 ounce Wagyu tomahawk that puts what you’d find at those “steakhouses” out East to shame.
You're here because
Kiddos are just as pampered as credit-card carrying adults here; the hotel treats kids to in-room cheese plates adorned with Rice Krispies treats and even allows them to “Raid the Fridge” with the chef for snacks.
The Moment
Your spa experiences typically read the same, whether you’re in Lisbon or Little Rock: a massage here, a facial there, none a standout. But you notice something different here, and it’s not just the pool overlooking the cityscape. It’s the fact that treatments include such unexpected offerings as Emsculpt Body Shaping, which grows muscle and reduces fat without a calorie of effort on your part. Even the Jetsons never had it this good.
