Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale

Oceanside Opulence

What it is

An elegant tower with a water-inspired spa with a salt-wall sauna, two pools, and five buzzing restaurant and bar options.

What it isn't

Set on a private beach. But the hotel has a pristine reserved area just for Four Seasons guests complete with beach concierges to attend to your every whim, whether you need sandcastle building toys or a spritz of SPF.

What we think

That hackneyed vision of Fort Lauderdale as a thronged Spring Break destination has found a peaceful rebuttal at Four Seasons. Guest rooms here are as serene as you can imagine, with floor to ceiling glass walls, neutral hues (sand; ecru; mahogany), and spacious floor plans that begin at a ginormous 439 square feet. Book an Intracoastal Room for a view of the infamous waterway beyond your balcony, or indulge in a 708-square-foot Prime Lauderdale-View Suite with a living room and two separate balconies that peep out on the city and the sea. Whichever room you pick, you’ll be treated like the V.I.P. you are, thanks to amenities like a Bang & Olufsen speaker, Nespresso machine, curated minibar, down pillows and duvets, Le Labo toiletry, and even a loaner iPad to control the room’s tech and summon room service with the Four Seasons app. Fort Lauderdale? More like Castle Lauderdale.

You're here because

You’ve become a Four Seasons devotee thanks to their kids offerings, which range from loaner custom bikes for the whole family to a Kids for All Seasons program that includes cooking classes and crafternoons.

The Moment

There’s nothing quite so fun as an on-point poolside bar, and this one offers a legendary sense of luxury. Set between two horizon edge pools and peering out on the Atlantic, the only thing more divine than the view is your Ocean Spritz cocktail: Hendrick’s, Italicus Coconut, Prosecco Zero, cucumber and mint.

Restaurants & Bars

Evelyn’s Fort Lauderdale - an open-air venue featuring Eastern Mediterranean meets coastal cuisine. The flavor-rich dishes are influenced by locality, seasonality, and culture

Honey Fitz - An all-day destination, the Lobby Café is an intimate lounge with a relaxed vibe; start the morning with the very best gourmet coffee creations; midday, curate a picnic basket to take to the beach; in the evening, sip a glass of wine or Champagne while planning the night ahead

Location

A block from the beach in central Fort Lauderdale, about ten blocks from the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, a 1920 estate flanked by exquisite landscapes of every sort—including mangrove wetlands and a maritime forest.
