Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts
Harbor View Hotel
An iconic getaway, freshly revamped
What we think
Skylark only includes hotels that meet our stamp of approval. Our editorial review for this one isn’t ready yet — but we’re working on it! Below is the hotel’s own description.
Built in 1891 the Harbor View Hotel has established itself as a landmark of Vineyard hospitality. Rich in history and lore the hotel is situated on Starbucks Neck overlooking the Edgartown Lighthouse and Chappaquiddick Island. The stately elm trees and whaling captains cottages of the late 1800s surrounding the hotel lend an air of Old World charm while its sprawling veranda invites guests to relax on a rocking chair and enjoy sweeping views of both the sea and the yachts of Edgartown Harbor.
