Owned by a local publishing mogul, the property leans into its "Ink Press" theme without being gimmicky; think vintage Smith-Corona typewriters, framed historic headlines, and walls papered in archival newsprint. The vibe is "town-center tranquil"—you’re steps from the action, but once you slip into the hydrangea-filled courtyard with its fire pits and BYOB mixer bar, the Main Street bustle completely evaporates. The design avoids the "nautical-by-numbers" trap, opting instead for a bold palette of navy, crisp whites, and vibrant citrus pops.

What It Is

A high-design 20-room boutique hotel housed in a quintessential 1883 sea captain’s mansion, now reimagined as a stylish homage to Nantucket’s literary and media legacy.

What It Isn't

A stuffy, doily-filled B&B or a rowdy harbor-side inn. This is Nantucket at its most polished—urban sophistication meets the Grey Lady’s coastal soul.
