Elliot Park Hotel
An Autograph Collection Hotel
What it is
A cozy and clean-lined 168-room respite with a locally beloved wood-fired Italian restaurant.
What it isn't
Low-tech. Amenities include zippy free wifi and in-room Alexa’s, which can do everything from turn off the lights to answer all your burning Minneapolis questions. “Alexa, do I need to bring an umbrella?”
What we think
Scandinavian style obsessives will feel right at home at Elliot Park, where each room was adorned with hygge (cozy) touches to suit any Viking queen: dark moody walls; ornithological artwork; warm, glowing light fixtures that bathe the space in firelight’s romantic vibe. Luxury amenities include curated mini-bars; ios docking stations; Keurig coffee and turndown (upon request). It’s well worth upgrading to a corner Courtyard suite; they’re 4,675-square-feet and tricked out with walk-in showers and wet bars ready for hosting a crowd in your private living room overlooking the cityscape.
You're here because
Hotel guests have insider access at adjacent Finnegans Brew Co., a craft brewery with a dog-friendly 4,000-square-foot outdoor patio and visiting food trucks.
You’ve had a spate of lackluster hotel breakfasts lately, so you’re instantly besotted with Tavola—where everything tastes like it was made by an Italian Nonna, just for you. Today, you start with the Negroni Sbagliato cocktail before diving into your Tavola Benedict—made with house-cured coppa ham and toasted focaccia. La dolce vita, indeed.
