In a city that occasionally reaches glacial temperatures, a welcoming warmth is key to any fine hotel. Hotel Ivy has championed just that, beginning in its guest rooms, all of which are spacious—starting at 400 square feet, with staggering 10 foot ceilings—and stocked with soaking tubs, separate glass showers, and serene color palettes. We find it’s worth upgrading to an Executive King room or above for Frette bed linens on a pillow top mattress, a well curated minibar, and falcon’s eye view of the cityscape (these rooms are roosted on the uppermost floors of the building).
