Bozeman, Montana
Kimpton Armory Hotel Bozeman
High Life
What it is
The city’s one and only four star hotel, tucked in a 1941 armory and now ready to wow—with an on-site music venue and rooftop pool and bar.
What it isn't
Hands off. Sure, this is rugged Montana, but it’s also as citified as it gets, with valet parking and a hosted evening social hour with tipples aplenty.
What we think
They don’t call Montana ‘The Last Best Place’ for nothing. That’s doubly true here, thanks to the pampering amenities Kimpton hotels are known for, including loaner Micro Kickboard scooters, in-room yoga mats and coffee and tea service in the lobby. Guest rooms are a modern, sleek version of traditionalist alpine style, with their leather and woven textiles, plush fabrics and smatterings of plaids. Starter rooms can feel cozy at 280 square feet; we love the 580-square-foot One Bedroom Suite, with its king sized bed, separate living space and a deep soaking tub in the en suite bath
You're here because
Their pet friendliness is pawsitively perfect, with in-room water bowls, courtesy bags for your strolls and no cleaning fees. Really.
The Moment
After an afternoon hiking Storm Castle Peak, you’re ready to let loose. The hotel’s subterranean Tune Up whiskey bar will more than do. You order a bison poutine and a sazerac and smile. The night is young.
