New York City
Mr. C Seaport
Glam by Design
What it is
A European-inspired hideaway in Manhattan’s centuries-old South Street Seaport district, with spa-like rooms and Brooklyn Bridge views.
What it isn't
Hands off. This is New York service at its finest, from the daily shoe shines to the 24-hour in-room dining by the iconic Bellini Restaurant.
What we think
When a hotel is family-run, you can expect a certain amount of warm welcome. When the family in question is the iconic Italian restaurateur clan the Cipriani family, you’ll be treated like you’re their long lost sister Beyonce. Guest rooms done in calming neutrals, and fitted with OTT amenities: 55-inch 4K HD Samsung tvs, Italian linens from Casa Rovea, Lutron lighting, teak millwork, a rainshower with Hansgrohe fixtures, and furniture made in Italy by Tedeschi. It’s well worth asking to book the Premier Peck Slip King Terrace room for your very own private terrace peeping out on the Financial District.
You're here because
You have a special thing for Italian hospitality meets New York street cred.
The Moment
Aperitivo Hour is maaaybe the best thing ever invented—and here, where it happens daily from 4 to 7, is edible heaven. You slink into one of the lobby’s pink velvet armchairs, sip your Aperol Spritz, and wait for the waiter to bring out more charcuterie. New York, you really are a heck of a town.
