Tribeca, New York City
The Roxy Hotel
On Top of Tribeca
What it is
A 201-room Art Deco-inspired darling with an in-house indie movie theater, jazz club, and multiple cocktail bars (including a local oyster bar with stellar seafood towers).
What it isn't
Equipped with its own pool and spa. You don’t need them. You came to take a bite of the Big Apple.
What we think
If you believe New York City’s best and most iconic moments happened in the past, The Roxy is a delightful rebuttal. Guests here are treated to the best of New York now: including everything from DJs that spin live and a buzzing coffee joint, Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee. Guest rooms are stocked with all you need to live large in this town, including beds swaddled in Egyptian cotton linens and a cashmere blanket (this city does sleep, and here it sleeps well); hardwood floors; a minibar tucked into a Smeg fridge; Nespresso machine; and toiletries by New York brand Five Wits. The Roxy King begins at 295 square feet; for more room to roam, we like the 335 square foot Studio Corner King and, for a full Jay-Z experience, the sprawling 2,560 square foot Roxy Penthouse and Terrace (including a living and dining room and private outdoor terrace overlooking the cityscape).
You're here because
You’re a movie junkie, and the Art Deco-inspired theater on site runs the gamut, from cult classics on 35mm to indie first runs worthy of Sundance…all steps from your bed.
The Moment
Brunch at the Roxy is a showstopper, even in a town that loves brunch. Today you’re going for it: brioche French toast with roasted honey crisp apples and vanilla anglaise…taking a bite out of the big apple, literally.
